Historical, architectural, and stunning, what better descriptive words could portray our next outfit location in Sibiu? The Lutheran Evangelical Cathedral and Tower are one of the most famous Gothic-style churches in Sibiu. With its beautiful tower, which you can spot in the background, the cathedral represents an exquisite site for all visitors to Sibiu. Now that we have the place all settled, we can move on to the artsy street fashion look that we’ve prepared.
What compelled us to match this outfit with the location was its color scheme. Toned down by the all-black accessories, the bright cognac color of the dress fit perfectly with in the picture of a rainy day, climbing the stairs leading to the cathedral. The backless dress is a fun clothing item with elements such as a low waist, a well-known vintage fashion element, and ruffles, a detail from more modern designers. Since it is more comfortable to go sightseeing with a fanny pack rather than a shoulder bag, we used this black mini bag as a fanny pack and tied it in the front with a small bow. Who says you can’t improvise well if you try?
A second accessory was the black earrings. Needing some sort of a bold item to make this outfit more Vogue Treats style, we chose statement black earrings which match the bag/fanny pack. Last but not least, the black pointed block heels completed the look as they complimented the bag and the earrings.
With this second look in Sibiu, we’re making way for two more to come soon. If you do visit the city after this post, listen to our word of advice; Heels do not bode well when roaming the streets of Sibiu and sightseeing, but they are definitely worth the pain for an artsy picture in an artsy outfit.
