New year, new post.
What a better way to end 2016 than baking some sweet delights for a newlywed couple?
A day before New Year’s Eve we attended a wedding for which we entirely created the cakebar. The theme we had in mind was elegant, classical and of course, the wish of the bride, containing the color gold.
Since it took place during winter, we used pillow stuffing and tried to make it look like snow. The lights and Christmas ornaments gave the vases a subtle kind of glamorous aesthetic. Without meaning to gloat, we were told to craft all the decorations and put this together last minute.
However, we had a lot of fun doing so and if anyone ever needs help with a dessert bar, we would be more than happy to throw some ideas their way.
