Standing in front of the beautiful paintings at the MOCA (Museum Of Contemporary Art) we couldn’t resist taking some outfit photos. During the Christmas season, we incorporated a lot of red items into our outfits and so we decided to move away from that predominant color for a while.
Instead, for this outfit, we focused on colder colors and patterns. Speaking of which, just as we predicted a couple of months ago, flower patterns and dainty dresses are back in trend. For today’s outfit, we went with one of our personal favorites, the dressy casual outfit. In our books, this outfit can easily be altered for any occasion so that you don’t need to put a lot of effort when going through a fashion crisis. As a central piece, we chose a patterned black dress from H&M. To make the outfit stand out more and create a pop of color, we decided to pair the dress with a light blue sweater which matched some of the shades found on the dress. For shoes, we realized that the cold season isn’t over yet, so we utilized a pair of over the knee, suede-like, black boots. Lastly, to add a more fun accessory to this look, we chose a pair of indigo statement earrings that contrasted the blue of the sweater.
