White, red, and green… sounds like the winter holidays are returning in spring. As much as we’d all love for that to happen, there are still hundreds of days until the arrival of a well-deserved winter break. Backtracking to the mentioned colors, they represent the basis of today’s outfit. Let’s start this outfit description with an appreciative comment towards H&M’s reintegration of the smocked skirts into the fashion world. Although most common in the early 2000s, this skirt style has begun to reappear in designers’ collections and bloggers’ closets. With its dirty olive green color and animal print pattern, it adds a twist to any outfit making it more contemporary. Since we had a bold garment already, the green skirt, we decided to pair it with a white t-shirt which writes “J’adore” in red print. In order to cohesively link the two clothing items, we chose a pair of black sandals with red and white embroideries on the front strap. In addition, to balance the darker tones of the outfit, we used a pair of black cat eye sunglasses and a black faux leather jacket.
Even though we don’t usually discuss makeup, today we wanted to mention the newly released Rouge Louboutin Lash Amplifying Lacquer red mascara by Christian Louboutin. With this addition to your daily products, the red mascara provides a subtle and, at the same time, vibrant color to your eyelashes. Because we were working with red accents in this outfit, we thought that red mascara would fully complete the look.
