With one day left until Labor Day, we did our shopping in style and chose to say goodbye to white for the next couple of months. Whether you do or don’t care about this fashion rule, you should still scroll down for more pictures and a detailed description of the outfit!
The white wrap dress represented the core piece of the outfit. Details such as the ruffle on the bottom and material resembling lace express the delicacy of the look. To take away from that fully fragile image, we paired the dress with navy and silver accessories. Firstly, we decided to use a navy headband with blue and silver embroideries which added to the intricacy of the outfit. Furthermore, as a second accessory, we went for silver hoop earrings which contributed to a more of a street style vibe. Similarly, the silver sneakers helped make the outfit more casual. Since we wanted to incorporate the headband as well as we could in the outfit, we chose a pair of navy blue glitter socks that perfectly matched the colors of the hair accessory. Lastly, for the pièce de résistance, we included a knitted bag in which we carried our fresh oranges—a recurring trend throughout this summer.
