When I’m walking through the streets of Sibiu ♪ Je vois la vie en rose ♪
Although we’re not in Paris listening to Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose” and sipping coffee in a French café, we’re not too far from the truth. On the most beautiful street of Sibiu, as named by the city itself, anyone is bound to fall into the spell of colorful flowers and city architecture. For this reason, you can still stroll around a small city dreaming of the Champs Elysees and vividly imagining the lingering sounds of your favorite romantic songs. Well, at least this is what the setting of this post should inspire you to do. Now you can snap out of it because it is fashion time!
When creating this look, we were looking for a clean and charming outfit that could be utilized for an afternoon spent at an extremely picturesque coffee shop. First of all, we based the whole outfit upon the shirt. The dramatic sleeves decorated with flower embroideries and the oversized bow in the back provide the look with an exaggerated item. Since the rest of the outfit constitutes simple items such as a pair of bell-bottom jeans and white platform sandals. Finally, I went for a simplistic hairstyle which blended in with the rest of the look and made the shirt shine, which was in fact the purpose.
Ta-daa! This was it for the outfit portion and as you very well know, we are still in the transitional phase to fashion for the fall season; people in the desert will understand the struggle of wanting to wear layers but ending up with armpit stains because the weather decides to give you more degrees than necessary… In the future, expect more outfit posts and trends that introduce the new trends for the fall/winter collections, so make sure to check the blog for new tips.
