Red soda float (the measures depend on the glass that you use)

2 scoops of cherry or vanilla ice cream

2-3 tbsps of cherry syrup (depending on the size of your glass and how sweet you want your drink to be)

Sparkling water

Whipped cream (for topping)

Blue soda float (the measures depend on the glass that you use)

2 scoops of vanilla ice cream

Blue food coloring (optional)

¼ glass (the one you use) of blue gatorade

¾ glass (the one you use) of Sprite

Whipped cream (for topping)

Steps for the red soda float:

  1. For the red soda float, you can choose between cherry or vanilla ice cream. Both work well, depending on your preferences.
  2. Put one scoop of ice cream into a glass of your choice.
  3. Pour the cherry syrup over your ice cream and on the side of the glass to make it look prettier.
  4. Pour the sparkling water into the glass and then top it with a second scoop of ice cream.
  5. Use whipped cream to top off the glass and decorate it with some festive sprinkles, tiny flags or whatever you think works best.

On to the steps for the blue soda float:

  1. If you want to, you can start off by pouring a little bit of blue food coloring on the sides of the glass to make it look more colorful.
  2. Next, you’re going to want to put one scoop of vanilla ice cream into that same glass.
  3. Pour the blue gatorade into the glass.
  4. Finally, pour Sprite in until you fill the glass up and put the second ice cream scoop on top.
  5. Again, to top it off, you can use whipped cream and any festive decorations that might seem appropriate. Enjoy!
