You’re probably wondering why anyone would ever want to eat a sweet salami. Let’s start by explaining that there is no trace of meat in this dessert whatsoever.
In honor of the 1st of December (which we know we stressed you about) we decided to come with a traditional recipe which can also work with a hot chocolate during this Christmas craze we just entered. It is a delicious treat which takes little time to make.

Sweets, TREATS
4 big salami rolls
Ingredients
920g biscuits (32.4 oz) *the type we recommend is Plain Petit Beurre
339g (3 sticks) unsalted butter
600ml (21 oz) milk
9 tbsp granulated sugar
12 tbsp cocoa powder
3 tbsp rum extract
Instructions
Crush the biscuits in a large bowl, set aside.
In a saucepan, put the milk, sugar and cocoa powder and stir until they dissolve. Remove from heat, add the butter and rum extract. Pour the milk mixture and stir it into the biscuits until evenly distributed.
You can split this mixture into as many part as you want and make a salami shape. Wrap it in a plastic wrap and put it in the fridge until it hardens (at least 3 hours). *When wrapping you can place some shredded coconut, almond flakes or any other topping on the plastic and roll the salami in it for a top coat
