For the first post since 2018, we are starting with a bold outfit. As everyone who makes New Year’s resolutions, we are currently in that transition phase where we feel invigorated and productive by the new year, still maintaining our resolutions. One of ours was taking more risks with our outfits and inspiring all of you to do the same. With that idea in mind, what could be more risky than vibrant colors combined with snake print?
The thought process that created this outfit was purely based on the dress. While we were shopping online (a resolution that we’ve already broken way too many times) we stumbled upon this recent collection from Zara that includes a spectacular selection of snake print pieces. Once we found the dress that Francesca is wearing, we fell in love with it and couldn’t resist buying it. The luxurious snake print turned an otherwise simple design into a fashion-forward garment. Another detail that we loved about this item is how easily adjustable it is. The loose tie found on the right side can be adapted based on how tight you want your dress to fit.
As we were thinking that there have already been many outfits that matched an animal print dress with a pair of black stilettos, we decided to add a wow factor to ours: hot pink tights. Before you say anything, yes we seem to have had an affinity for hot pink recently and we don’t regret it. And to prove that, we also included a pink handbag which completed the outfit.
