Au revoir, 2018, and bonjour, 2019! As we are nearing the end of this 31st of December, we are welcoming new opportunities and can say goodbye to the past year. Wanting to enter the year as our best selves, we should also be dressed to the best of our ability. If you follow the same logic, you’ve come to the right post. As we mentioned in our previous post, we wanted to make these New Year’s outfits with less glitter and more meaning. Although the shirt does have its message written in sequins, we thought that it reading “Au Revoir” is more suited for this occasion than the sparkles. Because we wanted to make this look more glamorous than Anna’s cozy outfit, we paired this sweater with a tan skirt that has a sort of a honeycomb print. Once we saw these platform sandals, we could not leave them in the store. Not only are they perfect for a New Year’s outfit, but they’re also extremely comfortable. And to finish the look, we accessorized it with a black clutch.

Just as our previous outfit, there is so much room for adjustment when recreating it. You can wear s similar tube skirt with a simple long sleeve top and you’re set. If you’re looking for more comfort, you can even substitute the heels for something more comfortable like a pair of sneakers that match. As long as you feel fabulous wearing your outfit, you did something right. Happy New Year, everyone!
