We’re back with some pink and a new pair of shoes. In a recent collaboration with Jehan Shoes, we received two gorgeous pairs of unique flats. The first ones came in a tan color with black embroidered beads, while the second pair had a completely different look which you will see in a future post.
One thing that excited us about this collaboration was that the shoes brought a fresh vision which made them stand out from any other regular flats. We love the squared tips because they differentiate flats from the regular round ballerina style ones. However, one comment regarding this particular pair is that they are very delicate and you need to be careful as some beads will come off fairly easy. Even so, the design of the shoes is worth trying them out.
To make this post more exciting, we wanted to create an outfit that would go well with the flats. Since spring is finally here and temperatures are rising, we took out our flowery garments and decided to include them in some outfits. Next, to the shoes, the long light pink flower-patterned pleated skirt also played a central role in the image of this outfit. In order for the look to show cohesion between the skirt and the shoes, we chose a black oversized shirt which we left unbuttoned and tied in the front; thus, you could see the link between the three items as the color of the shirt matched the beads on the shoes and some of the flowers on the skirt matched the shoe color through different shades of yellow. In need of accessories, we opted for a fuchsia bag which brought to life the outfit and balanced the paleness of the skirt with the black found in the shirt. Additionally, we felt that the outfit would look good with some statement earrings, therefore, we utilized a pair of feather-shaped teal vintage earrings; they also matched some of the green and blue shades of the skirt.
