One of the most famous summer desserts is nothing but the old fashioned ice cream
All of us have those days when we want to eat as healthy as possible and then we find ourselves with the worst cravings. This is exactly why we came up with a quick ice cream recipe that only involves a few simple ingredients.
250 g (2 cups) raspberries
3 tbsp sugar
Juice from one lemon
200 ml (7 oz) heavy whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
First, blend the raspberries with two tablespoons of sugar and the lemon juice until they become a purée. Set aside.
This step is optional, but some people prefer it this way. You can sieve the purée to separate the raspberries from their seeds.
Whip the heavy whipping cream with the vanilla extract and the one tablespoon of sugar that was left.
Pour the raspberry mixture into the whipping cream and stir with a wooden spoon (or any other spoon, just don’t use a mixer).
Freeze for more than 5 hours (best if left overnight). Enjoy!

Traditional Hawaiian shave ice, reportedly brought to the islands in the 18 via Japanese plantation workers, normally features a bevy of flavored syrups, sometimes a scoop of ice cream, azuki beans, and a drizzle of condensed milk—made with predominately sugary syrups and artificial coloring.
