Spend a Merry Pink Christmas!

The holiday season fever is beginning to touch everyone: the Christmas songs, movies, drinks, shows, and I could go on forever. Speaking of shows, having recently seen the Nutcracker, we imagined our Christmas this year as Tchaikovsky’s land of sweets. For this reason, we wanted to see the conventional white Christmas through new lenses—literally, through pink sunglasses.

First of all, we’d like to give many thanks to Red Label Eyewear for providing us with these magical sunglasses. And second, who doesn’t agree that the world would look much better in pink? As you well guessed from the beginning, we build this look upon one main accessory, the pink sunglasses. Ever since we saw them, we wanted to integrate them in a more contemporary look which contained another pop of color, such as the red jacket. To make the colors of the two items seem more vibrant, we chose rather neutral or lighter shades for a more effective contrast. For one, we decided on a printed distressed black t-shirt which would complement the black shade of the high-heeled sock boots. Additionally, the black handbag as an accessory matched the dark accents found on the bottom of the jacket. As for jeans, the light denim balanced the darker colors of the outfit with the vivid ones.
