The desert is full of surprises, and this time it consists of many pieces of art randomly placed everywhere. Desert X is an art exhibition which displays the artwork of many artists in the Coachella Valley scenery and we are definitely lucky to be so close to them.
We checked out Phillip K Smith’s “The Circle of Land and Sky” made of 300 geometric reflectors which are angled to create an illusion and express the artist’s vision of the correlation between the land and the sky. Thinking about this display I thought that a statement piece and bohemian look would do the trick.
I kept the look simple by wearing a little white dress with jean shorts underneath. Thanks to Mirina Collection I managed to accessorize the outfit with a beautiful silver statement necklace that would definitely work as an eyecatcher at any event, especially since Coachella is right around the corner. And finally, I chose some black knee-high boots to complete the outfit.
Anyhow, if you have some free time and are in the mood for a trip, jump in your car and explore the amazing art spread around the desert, you will not regret it.
