TAKE US TO THE DESERT…OR COACHELLA

Pictures, videos, and stories from Coachella are currently overflowing our feeds on all possible social media platforms. Some of us might find them annoying while others enjoy seeing all the festival looks and updates, especially if we weren’t there. Well we definitely belong in the second category as we couldn’t attend this year’s Coachella, but wished to do so. Even though we couldn’t take part in the festival, we thought that some of you might want some fashion inspiration for Coachella and all the other festivals around the world. When we saw the purple sequin dress in store our minds immediately thought of a Coachella outfit. With the perfect length for comfort, the dress can be worn with both statement accessories or casual garments. Since we wanted to make this look the bolder one of the two, we decided to add a statement necklace which matches the greys on the jacket and the socks. You might be thinking that it is way too hot in the desert to wear jackets right now, however, since the festival runs until late at night you will be thankful for bringing a jacket as it can get fairly cold. Furthermore, the fishnet tights had to be part of one of the looks as everyone has been obsessing over this reinforced trend. In order to make the look edgier, we incorporated a pair of black service boots which we paired with grey socks. Lastly, we kept the makeup to a minimum with only metallic lips and nude eyeshadow, while we went for a wet hair look (with glitter stars, of course) as the hairstyle.
